This is Me!
Just a little section introducing myself!
Hello you lovely lot! My name is Marybeth – most people call me Mb though – and I am a 23 year old recent graduate from Leeds Beckett University. Well, I don’t know if I can say recent anymore, as I graduated in July 2018, but anyways, thats how I see myself at the moment.

I am working full time now though, but I won’t bore you with what it is I do because truthfully, its only a stop gap to me. I’m constantly still applying for roles within the media/creative industry, because if you want to sum me up in a nutshell, that’s where I belong. I’m a creative person right down to my very core, it’s who I am. You name it, you can pretty much guarantee I’ve had a dabble at quite a few creative and artisic hobbies, photography, art, writing, videography, design etc, etc. But photography and writing are my specialities. I studied photojournalism at university, and also started writing my very own novel.
On a more personal note though – and I feel like I can share this with you, because I’ve come to accept and address it a lot more – I have been struggling with my mental health for quite a few years now, ever since I lost my Grandad in 2013, thats when it all really started. So, you may see quite a few posts about mental health in general on here, as its pretty important to me, along with my Grandad as well – that man was and always will be my best friend. I miss him every second, of everyday.

Moving on from the more intense part of my life, I am also a huge film and book lover, which I’m guessing you can probably work out seen as though my very first post on here, is my review of Avengers Endgame. What a film that was! I’ve got an endless stack of books in my room, which I kind of like to think of as my own personal libary, one in which I really hope some day I can join in becoming a published author myself – you have to have dreams right?
Anyways, that’s just about all you need to know about little old me! That, and the amazing set of friends and family that I have in my life, who you will definitely be hearing and getting to know more about, as I finally set the sails on my very own, online journey. So welcome, and enjoy the ride!
